relocating tub and shower stall


Im remodeling my bath,and i moved my tub about 4 feet from the drain in the cement floor, and i want to also install a shower stall between the tub and drain----do i need to jackhammer a new pit and ditch to the drain thats there so that i can add new pee traps --under these new items--- thanks

Sounds like a good plan. Don't forget about the vent for the shower.

Thanks--since both the tub and shower will drain into the 1-1/2 can i use a vent--AAV--if so where could i locate that ---i appreciate any info--im just a do-it yourselfer--thanks

There's your next problem.

Code reuqires a min 1 1/2" for tub drain and 2" for shower.
