can anyone give me advice on redi tile shower bases? I am wanting to intstall a 60x42 shower base and ran across the redi tile product..alot of the blogs and reviews are from 2004 etc..need opinions!

I have also posted questions about p trap and raised subfloors and really want to thank bluebird5 for the response! I am new here, yet have found a wealth of information!

Chu,
I put one in a couple of years ago, followed the directions to a t, and had no problems. However, I wouldn't put another one in. Too pricey for what it is, and too much chance for problems. I switched over to the Schluter-kerdi setup. It went well. I have two more jobs scheduled with those. Seems like a good product. But you still have to be very careful and follow their directions as far as how and what products to use.
