recommend a shower drain anyone?
I have a fiberglass shower receptor I am about to instal directly onto a slab floor.
I had a look at the off the shelf PVC drains and was less than impressed.
I'm pretty sure Brass is the way to go.
Is there a preferred technology?
I'll be laying the pan onto a bed of mortar so replacing the drain would be a pain in the arse.
Thanks a million.
Sioux Chief Jackrabbit.
Get it on there once, get it perfectly straight, and do it easily.
I'm assuming that you're going to have a void of space below the shower where the P-trap is?
If you ever needed to remove it, it would be easier to remove than any other type of drain I have ever seen.
In a slab situation, still not easy, but note I say : Easier.
jackrabbit huh? Okay i will have a look for that one
The trap is buried under the concrete
Ya i know, but what do i know? nothing!
