recirculating hot water problem

The water to our building was knocked out by the sewer repair crew. Since then our recirculating hot water does not seem to be working properly. We get hot water only after running the faucet for a several minutes. This was not the case before the water from the street was knockd out for about 2 hours. I am using a TACO Recirculating Cartridge type pump but not sure how to tell if it is working properly. Any help in this area would be appreciated. When the hot water does flow the temperature of the water is correct. Two other condo owners in the building are not having a problem. We each have our own system.

Cliff; sounds like there is air in system. bleed the system and you should be fine

Thanks, Skymaster

Your suggestion to bleed the tank worked like a charm. Now back to a normal operation. Saved me taking apart the pump etc. Thanks again for the help and fix.
