I'm remodeling my kitchen and replacing an electric stove with a gas range. Can manage/have some excellent help for demo, cabinet install and electrical work but would like to use a licensed contractor for the gas connection and duct work/install of range hood. Thinking of venting through the roof (open attic above where the stove will be). Would a plumber typically handle this scope of work or will I have to get two different contractors - one for the gas line and one for the duct/roofing work?
My preference would be have one contractor handle this (gas line, duct work, range hood install).
We live in Virginia (Fairfax) so need to get permits for the duct work/venting through the roof.
Thanks!
