The system was not using salt so I did a manual regeneration and thats when it would not quit.
does this have any relationship to not using salt???Is the timer gone??
Thanks

If the unit is plugged in to a known good outlet and the motor is Cold then yes the motor is toast..
Which Rainsoft is it?
Any way of a photo of the system?
If the motor is not working then it will A not start a cycle and B not work its way through the cycle and salt usage will be toast.

Can you manually advance the timer until it shuts off? There is probably a bypass valve you can open until you can repair it.
