quietest toe kick heater

Hey Everyone,

I have 4 toe kick heaters scattered throughout my house. When they are set to hi (or in their case "max"), they are very loud. We have one in our master bath and if you are relaxing in the bath, it is very disturbing. So long story short, are their quiet toe kick heaters on the market that somone would suggest I look into??

Also, I have become a big fax of Pex tubing since using it for a lot of hot and cold water applications. There is one toe kick heater that I would like to move - could I use regular Pex tubing on these lines or is there something specifically made for heating.

Thank you!!
Matt

David,

Toe kick heaters are generally used in areas where you can not use baseboard units or radiators. They are typically installed under cabinets in kitchens/bathrooms, etc.... They have similar connections as baseboard units would have with the exception of wiring for a fan. When the unit senses hot water the fan kicks on. I'm sure if you just google the term you'll get more info than you want =)
