Quick connect sink?

Has anyone here heard of a quick connect sink? A coworker needed a new sink. So the plumber told him that there wasnt enough lip on the front of the cabnet to install the proper anchors. I"ve installed a new sink before and ran into the same problem I just used two clamps on each side and two in the back. It turned out ok . Hasent leaked yet a year later. The reason Im asking is that they told him that these sinks are 400$ Any thoughts?
Please help....................................Rick...... ...............................

I have not heard about these sinks but silicone is a lot cheaper than that. Sounds like someone is trying to make a fast buck.

I call hog wash! I'm assuming it's a kitchen sink? Like majak said, silicone is your friend. Get the clamps on where you can and caulk the rest. Heck, even if you needed to re-caulk it every year it would save a lot of money.
