Question about PVC drain pipe (shower)
Started a bathroom/shower remodeling today and I completed most of the demo. However, it seems my new shower pan is about 3" wider than the previous tub-most everything else is fine as far as alignment goes, but the PVC drain pipe is about 2-3" off center towards the right (if you're facing the drain wall).
I can pull on the pipe and there's enough wiggle room where I can get the pipe to align with my shower's drain area, but it's pretty tight and I have to exert quite a bit of pull to get it there. Wondering- should I do this for my final installation? Will prolonged torquing cause the PVC pipe to crack prematurely in the future?
Not going to work.
Going to have to cut and rebuild that drain so it lines up with out having to force it.
