putty on bathroom vanity


Im installing new faucets on my new bathroom vanity,do i need to put putty on the drainage hole before i install that piece?

putty on bathroom vanity


Depends on your countertop.

There's a non-staining type you can buy thats a little more expensive. Otherwise it's mostly preference.

Some more expensive faucets come with a nice gasket on the bottom that take the place of the putty.

Plumbers putty....available at any hardware or big box store.
