pump setup drain in the basement?

I have an unfinished basement, that im planning on putting the washer/dryer in. Problem is that the drain line is above the basement level. So what would i need to do to pump the water out?

also, its not critical at this point, but later down the line i want to put a full bathroom down there when the basement gets finished, what should i do for that?

well im looking at that sanivite pump. It looks like it would be the best for my application and fairly cheap compared to the others. it says washing machines must drain to a laundry tub first, what the heck is that?

How high do you need to pump it? If it's only a couple of feet the washing machines pump will be fine. If it's more then that you need to install a laundry tub first. This prevents the pump from getting full of suds and causing a backup.
If you're not ready to install the bathroom at the same time as the laundry what I would do is get yourself a cheap pump that doesn't have to get buried. Then when you install your bathroom use the saniflow toilet or an underground pump (which I recommend).
