Proper drain for relocated washer

I'm considering moving a washer from downstairs to the space almost directly above it (garage). Getting water to it is not hard, but I wanted to ask about the drain. I can access the current washer drain pipe from the new location, but it's not a straight shot; there going to be an angle to one section of the pipe. Hopefully the picture shows pretty clearly: my proposed new drain piping in green, existing in blue. Any thoughts, affirmative or otherwise, are appreciated! PS. I know it should be 2" drain pipe, but the existing is 1 1/2 ". I can replace it with 2 without too much trouble, if the consensus is that it's necessary.

Any thoughts...
Don't forget extending all that for the vent.
