Propane Line for 30" Stove

hello all,
I am adding a propane tank for my stove only. The location of the stove is right outside of the tank location. I'm guessing max run would 4ft.

Can I buy that much flexible pipe at home depot?
do i need a shut off at the tank and at the stove?

The stove came with the conversion for NG to Propane?

I can't address your questions, but have you checked to see if you can legally hook up your stove yourself?? You're in MD, after all.

Not sure how it works were you are but here you need a permit, and a licenced plumber with a gas licence or the gas company has to do it.
Not sure why there's a ? after the statment is there a propane conversion kit with it.

Most places want soild black iron pipe ran to the stove run behind the wall, a shutoff, then a flex line from the shutoff to the stove.

Regulations are strict and fines are expensive and home owners probably won't cover it

You can't run flex straight from the tank to the stove, no matter how short of a run it is. It amazes me that HD and the like now sell CSST, but when I was installing, even though I was (and still am) a ticketed gas fitter, I had to be certified through the manufacturer.

no disrespect......this is not a diy project.....propane is very dangerous...strict codes....a tank has to be regulated for proper operation and delivery of gas to the appliance..... please listen we won't steer you wrong...we have your safety in veiw...ben sr
