Propane Empty - How to Purge?
Our propane tank ran empty, and the fuel company is coming to fill it. They say they'll need to "purge" the system of air before they can turn the gas on.
Can someone explain what that entails? Is it simply keeping the downstream-most appliance on, until it lights and burns reliably (meaning all the air is out of the line from the tank)?
In our case the stove is last, so is it just a matter of keeping the burner in the "sparking" position, until it lights up?
I believe thats all it takes, you may have to do this for each fixture it supplies.
