hi, i am trying to remove a bath faucet. the hex nuts underneath the sink are giving me problems. it is a standard centerset faucet. the nut is rusty and small. i tried basin wrench. i cannot get it to loosen. please take a look at the attached picture. what tool do I use to loosen it?

thanks

If basin wrench is slipping, I'd spray the nut/bolt with Liquid Wrench, let it set for a while, try a 6-point socket, a box wrench, or vice grips.

Those nuts can get real nasty and stuck. I have good luck with vise grips sometimes. If that doesn't work, and you're replacing this faucet with a new one, go get yourself a Dremel and some reinforced cut-off wheels. You'll love it. It'll slice those nuts right off there. It's always my last resort for stuck hardware, and it hasn't let me down yet
