problem with my plumbing

yes hope someone can help i just did my new master bath when i flush the toilet the tub drain shoots water out of it. when we use the shower the toilet flushes. the plumber who is a friend of our pizza delivery guy said that he did everything correctly he worked at plumbing company for 3 months washing the trucks and knows plumbing. i called roto rooter and they put a snake down the line and it came up in the toilet while the maid was setting on it, roto rooter wants 30 thousand dollars to fix the problem and wont pay the maids medical bills...can any of the plumbers here help tell me what wrong so i can ignore all your advise and call another incompetent handyman plumber/electrician/tile guy/wall paper hanger/ part time security guard/ painter/ to fix my plumbing what every you do please dont advise me to call a professional plumber they charge to much. i prefer to deal with cheap idiots over and over or try DIY please also tell me what end of the screw driver do i use to remove the toilet lid.

Is your alter ego "wonderworm" or "jackdiy" or "jackwashere"?

I feel your pain!

You're better off buying a repo- it will not have any pipes in it, nor will it have any wiring. Now you can start from square one.
But don't worry about permits cuz they were purchased in 1940 when the house was new.

And don't forget to get all fixtures and appliances used off of Craigslist.
