Price pfister tub stopper problem
I have a Price Pfister lever type tub stopper/overflow assembly in my bathtub. The lever was not operating the stopper. I took apart the chrome lever assembly. The threaded rod inside had come loose and was no longer attached to lever assembly. When I look down the overflow line the rod is no where to be seen. Is there a way to reteive the rod/nut to reattach it to the lever assembly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Try a strong magnet should latch on to it.
Got the stopper out and replaced the entire assembly including waste shoe, overflow, etc.
Replaced the hot, cold and diverter vavle stems & seats. After I tightened the new diverter valve down, the handle does not turn enough to allow shower to operate. When I loosened the stem assembly a little, handle turns & shower operates, but leaks slowly at handle/stem assembly. Anyone know the reason this is happening?
