Prevent Freezing Pipes


Please which main valves do you have to shut off to prevent pipes from freezing during the winter. Where do you find them and how do you shut if off. I am a new home owner. House is 4 years old.

Ayuh,.... Are ya livin' in the house during winter,..??

If so, ya gotta protect the pipes from freezin'....
Insulation, air flow, whatever....

If Not,... Ya gotta Completely Drain all the plumbin' pipes...
That usually includes disconnectin' the in-comin' supply, 'n back-blowin' the various circuits with compressed air...

If you can get more specific, so can We....
