Pressure tank/check valve problem
Hi,
I recently removed an old 1984 galvanized pressure tank from my home and installed a new "H(2)OW-TO" HT 30 tank. The check valve is inside the house near the tank. Whenever the pump kicks in, the check valve gives a loud "double hit"; bang, bang. The tank is pre-charged to 31psi. The pressure switch kicks on at 33psi and off at 56psi. What should I change to get back to a single "bang" again? Otherwise, everything else works great.
