pressure switch problem

the contacts could be getting stuck. I had one that started doing that (ran the pressure tank for foamy brush foam at a car wash). It would get stuck. The particular kind i had, you could get a rebuild kit which contained new contacts and springs. I filed the old ones a time or two and that worked for a while, but eventually i ended up rebuilding it. Lasted for another year or two and then i replaced it with a new one. It was the old type, so yours may or may not have contacts. I haven't been in the carwash business for 5 years now, they may not even use the same type anymore.

crap in the switch on the pump side remove it and clean it out....might want to expend it with a nipple and shut off...so you can blow it out

No guys....the problem is with the swith....not switch.

The swith is causing the overheqt problem.
