pressure balancing valve

I have a Moen 4 port pressure balancing valve. I am plumbing just for a shower. I'm assuming that the fourth port is for a bath drop down. I think I can just cap that valve off with a short piece of 1/2" copper and cap on that. Is this the right method for capping the port off or is there a better method?
