Prepare toilet flange - Radiant floor heat

When I roughed in my plumbing, I left the 90 degree 3" elbow an inch above the sub floor. I laid my tubing down and filled around the tubes with mortar. I am 1/2" above the elbow. with the thinset and tile, I will be a good inch above the elbow. Is there a flange or a piece of 3" pvc I shold put in there?

thanks

depends on the flange you use, really. The ones we use sit flush with the floor if the 3" pipe is about 1/8 - 1/4 " below the floor, but the pipe inserts into the flange about 1 - 1/4 ".

Best way really is to get the flange you're going to use and measure with it.

Good luck.
