PP. Valve Stem 910-024

I need Price Pfister replacement lavatory faucet valve stem PP# 910-024 Hot.

Lasco part number S-244-1

Found them cheap on the web with high shipping charge. Doubles the total cost.
Seems like a hard one to get.

No home depot or Lowes for this? Lowes sent me last year to a hardware store and I am waiting for them to call me back on this part.

True Value, Ace and my plumbing supply do not have it either.

Any ideas? TIA.

That's because Fisher Price is about the cheapest, poorest made faucets you can buy. Were it me, I'd replace the whole thing.

Try amazon or zorotools. Just a suggestion, I would buy both the hot and cold valve and do them at the same time, then you can forget about them for awhile. Or as Joe reccommends, you can contact price phister direct - maybe you will get a couple free ones. Tell them you need both hot and cold, replace them both and be done with it.

zorotools.com

amazon

I replaced the hot stem as both hot and cold are less than one year old.
I replaced both last time.
Been the hot twice. Never the cold yet.

I found a supply house about 30 miles away and got both for under $10.

Thanks gentlemen. I think you are correct regarding the quality.
Like I said, this is the third hot valve since I installed the faucet. That includes the original valve stem makes three.
