Possible to join PVC drain pipe to old iron pipe?

Is it possible to join a section of PVC drain pipe to old iron drain pipe? I have a leak in a drain pipe, but the vent pipe above is iron and the iron pipe below the leak goes into the concrete, and I don't want to bust it out.

If that is not possible, is it feasible to join no-hub cast iron pipe to old iron drainage pipe? And if so, how firm is that no-hub joint?

Yes there are . You can find the materials at h.d. or lowe's... most of the time I use a fernco fitting
