Polybutylene Pipe Repair

Does anyone know if Polybutylene Pipe will accept standard PVC fittings? I need to replace some leaking connections and want to make sure I can replace the leaking ones with regular PVC.

Someone told me that you have to use specail compression connections to make such repairs. Its that is true where do you get them?

Polybutylene Pipe Repair

What color pipe is it?
Fix it right the first time, so you won't have to fix it a 2nd time.
