Plumbing Tub Drain Help!

Hello.

I have a two inch pvc in my basement that was the drain for a shower I removed from my basement. Never had any problems with this shower. Directly above this on the 1st floor is a tub/shower. I want to reroute the drain from this tub/shower to this 2 inch that used to be a shower.

Is this possible?

Please let me know if you need pictures or anything to help.

PICS:
The basement drain. (I will be chiseling down to put a coupler on this.

The upstairs tub drain

That drain will now turn 90 degress from where it is now and go down at the wall in the back and then into the drain in the picture.

Plumbing Tub Drain Help!

I don't see any problems with what you want do as long get past the trap by removing enough concrete to get at it, remove the trap and connect your waste line to that. You can not just put a coupling on the pipe in the picture if the trap is still in the floor. Don't forget about venting. You will need to vent it somehow.
