Hello, My house was built in 2001, and I live in Miami, Fl. We do not have basements. l would like to relocate the washer machine to the garage. How do I work the plumbing? The washer machine is presently inside the house in a small "laundry closet" . I would like to convert it into a powder room/guest bathroom. I need an estimate in price and time or do it myself tips.

We don't do estimates here. And since most of the pipes are in the slab, making that move will be messy and expensive, unless you are good at cutting concrete. One option might be a large gray water pump to pump the water to drain pipe. But careful, you can't make unsealed(fireproof) holes in garage/living space wall.

Thanks for your reply and insite. So you are saying that I need to dig into the concrete, install a drain pump and seal the hole in garage wall. Why do we need to dig a hole in the concrete for? Can we lay the pvc on top of the floor and then connect draining pipe to the pump. What amount of power does the pump need to be? Have I missed anything? Please let me know.
