plumbing problem

Why does my hot water shut off all through the house when I flush the toilet in the back bathroom? Back bathroom is @ opposite corner of the house from the water heater.

plumbing problem

Old steel pipes?
Low water pressure, trouble with the pressure tank or lack of proper flow from restricked pipes comes to mind.
On a well or city water?
