Plumbing pedestal sink

Hi folks,Im plumbing a corner pedistal sink and not sure about the water supply lines. Are they supposed to both be located on one wall or one on each wall or is it just a matter of preference?

My preference would be to put both supplies on whatever wall the drain is coming out of. But in the end, it is all just preference, assuming there aren't any physical constraints (eg particular framing or external wall considerations that would prevent you from putting supply lines on a given wall)
