Another suggestion; The city has all the proper equipment to fix anything. If the ball valves, gate valves, and curb stop aren't working they can freeze the line long enough to replace all those bad valves at once. You can coordinate a time to do it. The city can fix their side and you can have your plumber fix your side. It's possible they may fix everything for you at no cost. It doesn't hurt to ask, may save yourself a lot of grief and money.

pipes turned green

Can anyone help me. Our house is 15 years old and in the last month several of them turned all green, a bright green. I do not think it is a leak anywhere, no moisture on them. just solid bright green on alot of them. We live in wisconsin so it is winter still here. we run a dehumidifier every summer.
