Plumbing dishwasher

I am planning a major kitchen renovation. Our dishwasher will be no where near our sink so plumbing it into the sink/disposal would pose quite a challenge. Is there another way to plumb it that is safe and sanitary? Below the kitchen is a crawlspace where I could tap into the main waste and maybe a vent line. I am in Colorado and they use a standpipe. I am wondering if I could put the drain line through the floor to a standpipe below with a p trap, or does the standpipe need to be above the dishwasher outlet? I have done many google searches and everyone has differing opinions on how to approach this.

Any help and/or advice appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
