Tank size will be the important issue here. Less than a 10 gallon tank could make it a time consuming process, depending on how much pipe needs to be done. This is one of those "bigger is better" times.

If you are talking DWV pipes just pour RV antifreeeze into the traps.

If you are talking water supply lines an oil lubed compressor will contaminate the lines with oil. Can you just gravity drain the supply lines?
