plumbing

I think that was exactly the thinking, as well. Get in, get it done, get out. I know the original contractor who built this house had to have known that, but he didn't bother to fix it either. Course after 3 days in the hole under the house trying to maneuver around water lines and sewer lines to get anything in there to fix it, I guess I know why-too much real work. We were able to get a jack post on each side and the footers are dug in on solid dirt, then we tied them together with steel plates, That was the best we could do with it. At least the floor is level now after we jacked the joists back up. If we get any settlement with the footers, it should'nt be much and we can put another turn on the jack posts if we have to.
