Plumbers putty or puttyless washer?
I'm getting ready to replace a sink drain in a pedestal sink. Unfortunately, replacing the sink drain in this particular sink is a real PITA, so I'd prefer not to do it again.
The Keeney drain I picked up at Lowe's comes with a puttyless washer, which I've never used before. Do you think the puttyless washer is okay or should I stick with traditional plumber's putty? BTW, I take it I shouldn't use both, correct?
