PLease help

When we use the kitchen sink it backs up into the bathtub in the master bathroom. The bathtub will not drain. The onlyway it will drain is to flush the toilet in the hallway a couple of times then the tub will drain. I had a plumber come out and he snaked the system from the roof, then snaked the plumbing at the bathtub and it still wouldn't drain. Same symptoms exist. He has no idea what is causing this. Can anyone please help?
Everything else works normal, both toilets flush just fine, the bathtub in the hallway drains fine ect.

You have a blockage in the line somewhere. Get someone in there with decent drain cleaning equipment, maybe even a sewer cam.

the sewer cam is a great idea. You definitely have a blocked line somewhere that seems to be creating a vacuum. We had problems with our sewer main and Roto Rooter came out with their snake and their camera. The camera is calibrated well enough that the plumber is able to almost pinpoint exactly where the problem is. It is a little pricey, but will solve your problems. The gentleman that came to our house was very polite and very knowledgeable. I recommend trying to find a Roto Rooter near you.

What is pricey?
