Question

pipe size for tub, floor, and bath sink drains


should i use 1-1/2 or 2 in PVC pipe for

1. bath tub
2. floor drain
3. bathroom sink

?

Don't forget you need a trap purger for the floor drain.

pipe size for tub, floor, and bath sink drains


Some showers are 2"
Most sinks and tubs are 1-1/2"
Many residential floor drains are 2" I really depends on what you plan on doing with the drain. Past houses have had both...and each worked equally well. If I were to plumb one in from scratch, I'd put in a 3" line.
