pipe noises

What would cause pipes to sound like they are going to burst thru the floor when the hot water is turned on at any faucet? Then after an hour of the water being off you can hear the floors creeking.

Can you give us a bit more information?

How long have you lived there?

1 or 2 story?

Has any work been done recently?

Can you describe the sound a bit better?

I have lived here for 3 yrs.House is a ranch with a full basement,new construction in 2009.Sounds like bagnging going thru the floor all the way to the faucet.
