pilot light goes out about every 3 weeks

I have 2 50 gallon ao smith water heaters; replaced one in November; the new one goes out about every few weeks. The plumber came out and replaced all the parts; worked fine for a few weeks then pilot light went out again. It is located in the basement across from furnace; old water heater never goes out.
