Pex and pressure treated lumber

I built the wall that houses my water lines with pressure treated lumber and am wondering if the pex and PT lumber will react to each other and cause problems down the line, can anybody help?

Pex and pressure treated lumber

Good Question Darrel,
I have no specific experience with the two products together but am pretty sure there is no real problem. If you're concerned, you can always wrap some 3M tape over the polyethylene pipe where it comes in contact with your lumber. Also note that the chemical treatment applied to PT lumber is proprietary and so each treatment facility has a different formula.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Good luck,

InspectorZo

Not going to be a probum, just wondering why you would build a wall using pressure treated lumber.
Sure hope this in not inside a home.
