Pex Plumbing Question...

I currently have the 1/2" red & blue REHAU pex lines coming from the manifold servicing all of the areas of my house. I now want to install pex to a new bathroom downstairs and can't find the same brand in the area. Can I use another 1/2 pex brand (and be safe)? Also, can I tap into an existing pex line (use a T)?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Scott

Pex Plumbing Question...

I believe the dimensions are the same for all pex pipe. I would opt to come from the manifold if possible but this may not be practical. Depending on circumstances a 1/2 inch supply may not prevent temp. and pressure fluctuations but sometimes you gotta work with what you got.
