pex pipe
I think I owe a big thanks to Ron the Plumber here for all he has said about pex pipe.I just replaced all me water lines with it and the new quick conenct conectors what a breeze ,if it wernt for what I had read on here I would have used copper or pvc and been at it all day and then some but this only took a few hours .Who ever invented this stuff should win some kind of home repair award

Unless specified otherwise by the homeowner, PEX is all that the pro plumbers in this area have been installing for years.
I went copper when I built my home back in '77, but I would definitely go with PEX today instead. Mike |

Yeah , yet they still charge the same as if they were installing copper, I had a guy quote me $11,000 to redo my house with pex. Ill be doing it myself thank you.So whats the link to rons post? i have read alot but im sure the info comming stright from a pro would be alot better than the technical litterature Ive been thumbing through.
