Pex to fixtures?
So if you use Pex, are you running it all the way down the wall to the fixture stubouts for the vanity and toilet?
and Regarding the shower valve, I read you should use either Copper or Galvanized, is this just for the connection to the diverter then the shower head? or should this also include the main supplies? Thanks |

http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...B81B30&first=1 Unless your into rusty water and leaking fittings skip any galvinized pipes of any kind, anyplace. Use copper to the shower head and the tub. It's been suggest that the ID of Pex is smaller so it may restict the flow to the shower head. I used it and had no issue with it. They even make a drop leg elbow that 1/2" FPT to pex. |

So copper from valve, to diverter, from diverter to rain-head and hand held? Supplies to valve? Straight Pex runs? The valve requires 3/4 and 3/4 hot and cold so I vae to increase the hot side from where it feeds.

Pex to fixtures?
Copper from the diverter valve to the tub spigot, pex fittings are smaller i.d. and could cause enough backpressure to push water up to the showerhead. From the diverter to the showerhead, pex is fine.
