P-Trap

I'm installing a new tub. I have a P-Trap with a union that screws on to the P-Trap. Has anyone had a bad experience with screwing them together rather than installing one that's cemented?

P-Trap

If it were under a sink and accessible I'd say go for it. But for concealed work I'd opt for glued connections in plastic.
