I picked up a cheap, non-overflow (didn't realize that at the time) sink/cabinet combo for my bathroom to tide me over till I do a complete remodel of the bathroom. the old drain coroded under the chemicals I used to unclog it, and the cabinet was rotten.
I'd prefer a pop-up, but they all have cutouts for an overflow.
the only decent looking non overflow drains I've seen are for vessel sinks, and cost as much as the whole sink cabinet combo I picked up. Not to mention, they don't have pop-ups.
Can I just stick in an overflow type pop-up drain in my non overflow sink (assuming my throat is deep enoug to cover the overflow hole?
