Over or under a perforated drainage pipe?

I want to run a 2" DWV pipe from a sewage pump to a septic tank but there is a perforated drainage pipe (coming from the septic tank running to the leach field) crossing where I want to run the pipe.

The drainage pipe is 12" down. Should I run my pipe over or under or do I need to find a different solution?

Don't know if you can do it but- I'd tie the 2" into the building drain before it exits the house. That's the proper way.

Right now, you are digging through your drain field and it's best to leave it undisturbed.

I'm plumbing from an outbuilding to the septic system. I've tied in the 2" line from the outbuilding to the pipe from the house right before it enters the septic tank.

The problem is, to get the 2" pipe from the sewage pump/basin for the outbuilding to the tie-in, I have to cross where the drainage pipe runs from the septic tank to the leach field. If I absolutely needed to I could probably go the other way around the septic tank to avoid the drainage pipe but that's a lot more trench and more complicated run

It's much simpler if I can just go over or under this one drainage pipe.

I can't imagine that over or under would matter for DWV. Feed lines would need to be deeper than that, but not DWV necessarily.

Flip a coin...
