Ole' faucet leaking...

Hello .. Requesting repair ideas for a leak in the brass (?) flex pipe in this very old faucet. Pipe has bad leak in the center of the line in the picture. Any ideas appreciated! It's a 8" on center faucet in an old pedestal sink. Thank you.

I wouldn't waste time tying to repair it.
Replace the line.

Agree with oso.

Turn off water, unscrew it, replace with new flex line. Use some pb blaster or wd40 on the nuts if you have to. Easy fix.

Re: Ole' faucet leaking...

Ghostmaker: Yes they are soldered..any chance I could remove those soldered connections by heating them and cleaning fittings and then using a new 3/8" (it seems) connection of some kind? Changing the faucet will involve cutting it off (nuts are totally rusted) and redoing the drain connection (and expense) trying to avoid that. Thanks for your input.
