Old houses have no main drain cleanout?

I'm looking at a condo built in 1965. The building inspector found clean outs for kitchen and baths, but no main clean out. He says there might not be a main clean out for a building that old.
Is this true? If there is one, hidden somewhere, where would it be? Would the hoa know where the main drain runs?

Thanks

Old houses have no main drain cleanout?

Very common for a building not to have a main clean out plug---

As to the exact location of the sewer---if you ever need to know a plumber has a number of ways to find it--cameras--and locator balls that get flushed down the toilet and send signals to a sensor as the head to the street---Mike---

Its not uncommon for clean outs to covered to be covered by sheet rock or under flooring.
