Old Galvanized Waste pipe

My house was built in 1950's and I am adding on, which includes a master bath. I want to run PVC for all of the waste lines but I need to tie into the exsisting. The exsisting is 6'' galvanized. How can I tie into this the best way and keep to code (Ohio). I have seen rubber-like boots used but I am sure that is enough.

Check with your local Building Inspection department for local code, but I'm sure that they allow either a Fernco (rubber) coupling or a no-hub (rubber with stainless steel sleeve) coupling to connect them.
Good luck!
Mike
