A.O. Smith Promax Water Heater (S) GCV-50-100

Pilot will not stay lit and burner go's out after running 10 minutes to 8 hours. Is there a recall on this water heater because I don't think I want to pay a service tech to come out and fix this and the problem dose not go away.

A.O. Smith Promax Water Heater (S) GCV-50-100

In the 1st few yrs of production ,all the new water heaters had problems with pilot not staying.. There was a class action lawsuit filed. I think all will supply repair /replacment parts. Call the 1-800 # on the tank & provide them with mod,ser #.
