No water in shower and Im out of things to try

I would call Delta and ask for a complete replacement.

http://www.deltafaucet.com/customers.../warranty.html

You stated that the Plumber verified you had incoming water.

You may want to get the documentation on adjusting the valve - I'm not sure, but maybe its possible to get orientated where nothing works? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...=1006052706057

Here is a video I found.

I think we need to back up and summerize all the facts....and clarify a couple of things.

With the valve removed and just the test cap installed you still do not get flow? Correct?

Including no hot or cold water?

Additionally, you do not get any hot or cold flow to the adjacent sink faucet?

You have a tankless water heater that supplies the rest of the house as well?

Water pressure is fine on all the other fixtures?

Please clarify/confirm the above.

Sink faucet is fine. I was talking about the shower faucet. It not a shower only, it has a faucet for the bath and a shower head for the shower.

Yes
Water pressure is fine on all the other fixtures?
Yes

Please clarify/confirm the above.

also I called delta and they said they couldn't do anything about the warranty because the shower was i the house when I bought it? The house was remodeled. I don't get it.

Ok....this helps.....we know it's not your water heater....

so....if you get NO flow with just the test cap on...neither hot or cold.....

Have you tried removing the test cap so that you have both your hot and cold going into an open rough-in body?

I would be turning off the water...turning off the water to the hot water heater....removing the cap/valve on the shower.....and turn the water back on...

If nothing comes out....it's NOT the water heater....should at least have cold water. If not....the blockage is somewhere before the rough-in body.

I think you should try compressed air.....and blow it back towards the water heater like I suggested above.

Not yet, but I do need to. I don't have a compressor so no compressed air. Ill have to go to my dads and get an air tank for that. I probably wont be able to do that until the weekend

Can you borrow a water hose from a neighbor? Put together some connections and use their water pressure to maybe flush the line?

Call them back and say you bought it and installed it, but lost your receipt.

That's what Im thinking. Butt hey did take my name and zip code don't know if they keep records. I could have my sister call or something though. I just find it a bit silly that the person that installed it in the house was never intended on owning it, so for all intents and purposes Im the first owner, though I didn't actually but the ting. Otherwise the plumber that installed it is the warranty holder.

Did you say this is a balancing valve? Is the spool separate to the cartridge?

i have never taken a shower/bath tub valve apart before but if i was haveing this issue i would be looking for a way to check that the lines from the last "T" to the shower valve were not blocked. i.e. taking apart the shower valve and turning the water on to see if water comes out.

The plumber did that. He pulled the lines off of the shower valve and they are fine.
